Tips: Hold a dumbbell in one hand and raise it over your head to arm's length. Stand straight up with your head up and your feet about 16 inches apart. Keep upper arm close to your head and keep your elbow in the same place at all times. Lower dumbbell in a semicircular motion behind head until forearm touches biceps. Return to starting position along the same path. Repeat with left arm once set is done. Can also be done with both arms on one heavier dumbbell or with a barbell.
