ATLANTIS REDUX : USER GUIDE 1.3

CONFIGURATION :

PocketPC Windows Mobile 2003/2003 SE

Minimal configuration : 200 MHz - 20 Mo of free program memory - 120 Mo storage space

Optimal configuration : 400 Mhz PocketPc with good graphic performance

INSTALLATION :

1/ Unzip the  Atlantisredux1.3.zip  file on your PC.

2/ The unzip folder have 7 necessary files :

- Atlantis_Redux.exe

- hss.dll

- data.vfs

- hnm.vfs

- audio.vfs

- warp.vfs

- text.vfs

(Atlantis_redux.exe is NOT a setup file, dont execute it on your PC, it is a PocketPC file)

3/ Copy the complete folder to a storage card.

You can do that by using a card reader (best solution) or by connecting your PocketPc to your PC. (cable or cradle with ActiveSync)

4/ On your PocketPc, use the file manager to open the storage card and execute Atlantis_Redux.exe.

5/ The game will generate 6 save files (00 to 05) and one config.dat file.

Atlantis runs with at least 20 Mo of free memory for program.

Atlantis runs better with no other application running at the same time.

Atlantis runs better when PocketPc with Turbo mode are in this mode.

Atlantis dont run correctly when using software like oz_vga or se_vga on VGA devices.

MAIN MENU :

Begin new Game  : to start the adventure from the begining.

Load saved Game : to reach the load menu.

How to play  : to reach help page.

Options  : to reach the options menu.

Quit Game   : to exit the game.

OPTIONS MENU :

Sound  : to activate or desactivate all the sounds (music and sound fx).

Subtitles*  : to select a subtitle language.

Display  : rotate the screen.

Video Quality* : to select the movie playmode

saved in the config.dat file automaticaly, and loaded at start.

CURSOR EXPLANATIONS :

  Directional Cursor : indicates that you may move in that direction

  Action Cursor : indicate that an action is possible

  Dialogue Cursor : indicate that you can speak

  Collect Cursor : indicate that you may collect an item

INVENTORY

The inventory is activated by using the down button or the button 1.

You can carry only 5 items.

The item can be drag and drop on the screen, using the stylus.

SAVING YOUR GAME

You can activate the save menu only when you are in panoramic view.

The save menu have two fonctions :

1/ click on a slot and click on save to save a game

2/ click on abort to return to the main menu : your game is lost.
