Introduction

This guide is a supplement to the Dungeon Master Modification for WarCraft III. It will help the player in generating a character for use with DM Mod created campaigns. In the following pages you will find a list of all races and classes currently available for play with the DM Mod along with their individual statistics.

RACES and their CLASSES

HUMANS:

Humans are a hardy race with no overall strengths, but also, no overall weaknesses. As a result, they can be many different classes.

Human Fighter:

A good all around soldier, the Human Fighter is generally well armed and well trained in all aspects of tactics, weapons and armament. He is sturdy and loyal, the mainstay of any fighting force.

Stats: Strength(Str) Intelligence(Int) Agility(Agi)

Bonuses: Extra +1 to strength for every level gained

Human Ranger:

The Human Ranger is a fighter with excellent tracking skills and years of training in outdoor lore. They are at home in the wild and possess some spells.

Stats: Strength(Str) Intelligence(Int) Agility(Agi)

Special Abilities: Rain of Fire, Searing Arrows, Cold Arrows, Ensnare

Human Paladin:

The Human Paladin is a holy knight dedicated to purging evil and upholding freedom and justice. A staunch fighter, he is also skilled in the healing arts and possesses defensive auras to protect himself and his compatriots.

Human Cleric:

The Human Cleric is a knight of holy order, dedicated to his god and his faith more than to combat. He is the healer of the group and has other protective auras bestowed by his god.

Special Abilities: Tranquility, Summon W. Elemental, Blizzard, Rejuvenation

Human Monk:

The Human Monk is trained in martial arts and skilled in stealth techniques. They often shun armor as their natural agility protects them from enemies such that armor would inhibit more than help. They are formidable fighters with some thieving skills as well.

Special Abilities: Death and Decay, Sleep, Mana Burn, Curse

Experience Rate: 100% Hit Pts: 650 Mana Pts: 270

Human Thief/Assassin:

The Human Thief/Assassin is trained in the arts of stealth. While not necessarily strong, they are extremely agile and good at finding traps etc. As an assassin he is a trained killer. He is extremely skilled with ranged weapons that allow him to hit his target with minimum risk to himself.

Human Sorceress:

The Human Sorceress is a magic user with a wide range of spells. She is a powerful wizard, and though very strong physically, she has many powerful offensive spells at her disposal.

Special Abilities: Starfall, Immolation, Chain Lightning, Cyclone

Experience Rate: 80% Hit Pts: 650 Mana Pts: 270

ORCS:

Orcs are a strong and fierce race. Orcs make great fighters (though they cannot be rangers or paladins) and some can be clerics, but they cannot be any sorcerer class due to their limited intelligence and agility. Nor thieves due to they're limited agility.

Orc Fighter:

The mainstay of the Horde, the Orc Fighter is fearless and single-minded when it comes to fighting the enemy. Trained from childhood, they are melee fighters who enjoy their work immensely.

Orc Barbarian:

If the Orc Fighter is the mainstay, the Orc Barbarian is the heart of the fighting Horde. He is brutal and fierce, dedicated to decimating his opponents in a blinding fury. What he lacks in style he makes up for in severity.

Special Abilities: Earthquake, Critical Strike, War Stomp, Cannibalize

Experience Rate: 105% Hit Pts: 600 Mana Pts: 250

Orc Cleric:

The Orc Cleric is a magic user who practices shaman magic drawing power from the elements of the earth itself. His spells can protect, cleanse, and enrage his brethren into an even more fearsome fighting force.

Night Elves, as the name implies, are at their best at night. Therefore, they make excellent

Night Elf Ranger:

The Night Elf Ranger is a dedicated and fearless priestess. Tasked with the safekeeping of the Night Elf lands, she utilizes offensive spells and scouting abilities to rid their ancient lands of evil.

Night Elf Druid:

After centuries of hibernation in the Emerald Sleep, the ancient Night Elf Druids are ready to again take up the mantle of protecting the Night Elf lands. They are half Night Elf, half stag and possess strange powers over nature and animals.

Special Abilities: Entangling Roots, Feral Spirit, Force of Nature, Healing Ward

Night Elf Monk:

The Night Elf Monk is an extremely skilled warrior. He possesses extraordinary agility and is a master of evasion. With his twin blades he is a dangerous foe, but combined with his dark spells he is a force to be reckoned with.

Night Elf Thief/Assassin:

Years of training and an innate mastery of stealth and cunning have made the Night Elf Thief/Assassin a being to fear. She can walk unseen at night and is an expert marksman, making her the ultimate spy.

UNDEAD:

Undead can be of many different original races, therefore they have no real restrictions to class. However, do to their inherent evil nature, they are not found in some of the sub-classes such as; monk, paladin, druid, and ranger.

Undead Fighter:

Aboard his shadowy steed, the Undead Fighter strikes fear into the hearts of the most valiant warriors. Bestowed with vampiric runeblades and wielding deadly spells they are the mightiest generals of the Scourge.

The Undead Cleric wields the power of darkness and mental domination. He has powerful auras to aid his allies, and even more powerful aggressive spells to decimate his enemies.

Undead Sorcerer:

Bestowed with control over the furious elements of Northrend the Undead Sorcerer can easily protect his allies or destroy his foes. He is as merciless as he is deadly and he can absorb the energies of his own undead army sacrificing them to replenish his dark magical powers.

Undead Necromancer:

Adding to the Scourges dark magic is the Undead Necromancer. They have true power over the dead and are able to raise skeletal warriors from the grave and bestow a number of dark enchantments on their fellow warriors.

Bonuses: Regens +5 mana points for each kill of any non-undead creature

Special Abilities: Inferno, Frost Armor, Carrier Swarm, Raise Dead

Experience Rate: 80% Hit Pts: 500 Mana Pts: 280

HIGH ELVES:

High Elves are a very old and venerable race. Their people are extremely agile and intelligent. They excel as sorcerers, thieves and clerics.

High Elf Ranger:

While elves have always been the protectors of nature, the Elf Ranger is the epitome of that ideal. She possesses protective auras and formidable offensive spells to compliment her fighting prowess and nature skills.

Seeking to heal and protect his compatriots, the Elf Cleric brings to bear an array of restorative and protective spells. But he is not without offensive abilities too.

Dwarves are short, stocky, strong warriors. They make excellent fighters but cannot be clerics, thieves or sorcerers.

Dwarf Fighter:

The Dwarf Fighter is a small but mighty warrior. He is indefatigable and will continue on when others will quit. Enemies underestimate him at their peril.

The Dwarf Ranger is a strong stout soldier. A proud and honorable warrior, he tirelessly battles against evil with his massive hammer, pounding his enemies to the ground.

Tauren are large and powerful creatures. They make excellent fighters, and also good clerics.

Tauren Fighter:

The Tauren Fighter is a fierce and extremely powerful fighter. He uses his totem to smash his enemies to dust.

Tauren Cleric:

The embodiment of honor and courage, the Tauren Cleric will do all he can to aid and encourage his allies. But when moved to battle, he is also quick to destroy any enemies bold enough to confront him.

FURBOLGS:

Furbolgs are large & powerful creatures. They are perfectly tailored to be fighters, but due to limited intelligence and agility, cannot be clerics, thieves, or sorcerers.

Furbolg Fighter:

The Furbolg Fighter has emerged in a once gentle and peace loving race to become a mighty and ferocious warrior. No one knows what has enraged the Furbolgs, but a wise man knows to stay out of his way.

Furbolg Barbarian:

The best of the best, that is the Furbolg Barbarian. He has given up his peaceful ways and embraced the rage overtaking his people. His immense size and strength are enough to fell large trees, let alone a single warrior.

Special Abilities: Earthquake, Critical Strike, War Stomp, Cannibalize

TROLLS:

Trolls are kin to orcs and have the similar traits. However, they are smaller and do not make good fighters but they do make good clerics or thieves.

Troll Thief/Assassin:

The Troll Thief/Assassin is cunning and ruthless. Trained from youth he is an eager mercenary with deadly accuracy.

Troll Cleric:

The Troll Cleric's main role is support of his troops. With sentry and healing wards he is able to protect and restore them for future battles. He is a worthy ally in any foray.
